As you can see on the menu above, we have video tutorials for you, as well advice and tips, examples of SLCC ePortfolios using Yola, and a list of places where you can go to find more help.
Remember to stay within the outline prescribed by SLCC for your ePortfolio. Otherwise, use your creativity to showcase your educational journey through the College.
Pros of Using Yola--Yola has a nice drag-and-drop interface that is easy to use. The file manager feature allows you easy access to the documents and images you've uploaded into your portfolio. Yola has dozens of free templates to choose from when starting your ePortfolio. It also allows you to password protect your assignment pages after your instructors have viewed them.
Cons of Using Yola--Very few cons to this product. Yola's user interface is ever-so-slightly less intuitive than Weebly's. Yola often does not agree with .docx files, so you want to save your word processed files as either .doc or pdf.
